A warm and caring environment for
young children for over 30 years!

About Our Preschool
Led by Director, Sandy Sachs, The Thelma K. Reisman Preschool offers a wide range of activities and experiences for children to be nurtured physically, academically, socially and Jewishly.

Our Jewishness is integrated into the program by exposing children to Jewish culture and traditions. All students participate at age appropriate levels. We are an integral part of Congregation Beth El's synagogue, although children of all faiths, and levels of observance are welcome.

Our Preschool Environment
For over 30 years, our mission has remained the same, to provide a warm and nurturing Jewish environment for young children. Our indoor and outdoor facilities were planned with the needs of young children in mind. Our large, sunny rooms offer many opportunities for imaginative play, art activities, and quiet reading. Our outdoor playground offers lots of equipment to support imaginative play and opportunities for physical exercise. When the weather keeps us indoors, the playroom, with its bikes and other fun equipment, provides the perfect space for gross motor activities.

The Thelma K. Reisman Preschool has its very own library, from which teachers borrow books for classroom use and parents may borrow books to take home for a day or two.

Our Preschool Staff
Our experienced, highly qualified teaching staff and assistants provide a consistent framework for the Preschool. Each class is led by one teacher and one teaching assistant. The teachers are always concerned about the whole child their physical and mental growth as well as their feelings, relationships and character development.

Our Director, Sandy Sachs has taught elementary and preschool children for more than 25 years. Previously, she was an assistant director of the JCC Metrowest's early childhood department and then directed the early childhood program at the JCC in Whippany, NJ. Sandy joined the Thelma K. Reisman Preschool as its director in 2002.
