Scrip (gift certificates or debit cards) is an ongoing fundraising program for Beth El. It offers our membership another way to help Beth El raise funds. Since we all buy groceries, scrip is easy.

Here’s How It Works:
When you purchase scrip you get dollar for dollar what you pay for. The certificates and debit cards are used just like cash. You buy certificates to stores that you normally shop at, and use them to pay for your purchase. They make great gifts for family members, friends, teachers and co-workers too! Beth El makes money on every scrip sale no matter how large or small. We earn a percentage of the dollar amount purchased. Scrip is available for ShopRite, Kings, Pathmark, Zayda's and Maple Kosher.

How Does Beth El Make Money?
We purchase the scrip in advance from the grocery stores at a 5% discount. If you pay cash for your scrip purchase at Beth El, then we make $5.00 for every $100.00 that you buy. We do accept Visa and MasterCard in the office, but we will charge you back a 3% service charge, for example $100 of scrip will actually cost you $103.00 if you charge on Master or Visa card.
